Our programme aims to deliver the full primary Type 1 Diabetes curriculum at diagnosis via a structured educational course using a Flipped learning approach.
This is where the patient will learn all about Type 1 Diabetes via a virtual learning environment (a purpose built app). We aim to teach all newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic children and their families the knowledge for them to fully manage their own diabetes.
Type 1 diabetic patients achieve the best outcomes when they are empowered with the knowledge of their condition so that they can manage it themselves.
